Over the past several years PSA application has experienced tremendous growth in the nuclear power industry. This has lead to numerous enhancements in PSA tools. Most notably, model quantification, which previously took days in many cases, can now be performed in minutes. This rapid results generation capability has supported the industry's growing need for PSA information and fueled many of the risk-informed applications being evaluated today.
