Study on filling resin (JPU) of polyacrylic acid modified with polyurethane

This paper describes a filling resin (JPU) for leather production, which was prepared by multistage-copolymerizing polyethers, organic acid, TDI, etc. in the absence of organic solvent, followed by nonionic emulsifying, then mixed with polyacrylic acid in the present of amine. Penetrating, softness and elasticity of leather are also discussed based on structure of JPU resin. Results show that grain loose, softness, elasticity were improved better.
