The increasing use of computers plus networking-oriented technology at the enterprise operation management, paralleled with their representation in the culture, has in recent years led to a wave of rethink the business value of advanced enterprise information systems (EIS) toward profit-oriented enterprise behavior. The out-of-date thinking modes of rapidly updating information technology at top & mid-level manageemtn team will become an obstacle for the further development. So it may be wise to rederfine the EIS concept as a collective of human factors plus technology resources which means the investment at serivce and education area of EIS should be put at core position.
