Information Field - A conceptual model of information network

摘要

This paper reports a new conceptual model of information network, derived from COH - a generic architecture for inteligent systems[7,8]. This model may make contributions to further development of both the Internet and the World-Wide Web, by bridging the two conceptually. In thsi model, an information network is treation network can be considered as excitation of field, as that in a physical field. In this paper, the model is introduced, followed by a brief explanation of its theoretical foundation, and discussions about its advantages over current network protocols and various hyper text markup languages such as SGML[5], HTML[3], and XML[6]. In conclusion, potential applications of this model will be addressed.
