Tap and Apply Information Resources to Propel the Development of Information Service Industry

摘要

The importance of taping and applying information resources to the development of information service industry is explained. Several basic points for tapping and applying information resources are presented, including strengthening the construction of databases, promoting Chinese S&T periodicals to be available on Internet, perfectign the ChinaInfo resources system, promoting network availability service of databases, paying attention to the collection of S&T documents, propelling the information sharing plan, establishing market mechanism for taping and applying information resoruces, formulating urgent laws and regulations necessary for information services, and cultivating and stabilizing information talents, etc.
