The Solution and Application of the Fixed-bed Adsorber of Linear Adsorption System

摘要

The mathematical model of fixed-bed adsorber for linear adsorption system was solved analytically by Laplace transform and inverse transform in this paper, while the axial dispersion was ignored. The result was applied to discuss the adsorption behavior of paraxylene, including the change of adsorption belt along the fixed-bed adsorber, breakthrough point corresponding to the bed length and the shape of breakthrough curve affected by different adsorptive equilibrium constant and total mass transfer coefficient.
