A Study On Extraction Of Scandium From A chlorinated Flame Dust

In the process of preparing titanium chloride, the scandium goes into the chlorinated flame dust. In the present paper, a purity being larger than 99.5% of scandium was extracted using an organic extracting agent. The impurities such as iron and manganese were removed by a complex precipitant which could be used repeatedly.
