This paper presents the conditional simulation of orebodies based on the joint use of diamond drill hole assay data and cross-hole tomographic data. The study demonstrates an advanced non-parametric stochastic simulation framework that allows modelling based on the "hard" assay data, while the "soft" tomographic data is used according to their quality/accuracy and compatibility to the assay data. The technique is applied in the modelling of the cross-hole region using Cu assay data and integrating cross-hole RIM tomographic conductivity data to the modelling process. The study shows that modelling based on the direct integration of diverse data is an overly promising and powerful tool for advanced orebody modelling and enhanced mine planning.
