摘要

The paper reveals that the mechanism of corrosion fatigue properties fro suspension spring can be classified into two elements. One is corrosion-pit, and the other is hydrogen embrittlement. Corrosionpits are improved by adding copper and nickel, and the hydrogen embrittlement is improved by titanium. A new steel grade applying this concept achieves very successful corrosion fatigue life.
