The influence of patent harmonization on the wire and cable industry

Patent harmonization, conforming the U.S.patent system with the rest of the world post-GATT treaty, influences in ternational operations such as the wire and cable industry. This paper describes the effect of the United States and international patents on the industry and offers strategic suggestions for using patents offensively and defensively.
