What Do I Need to Think About When I'm Thinking About Installing a Reverse Osmosis System in My Industrial Plant

Far too often the actual performance of a reverse osmosis system does not match up to the expectations of the systems owner. This often leads to excessive costs, frustration, and dissatisfaction with the supplier of the system. These unmet expectations are sometimes caused by a poor understanding on the part of the purchaser with regards to necessary system requirements which will enable the system to perform to expectations. This poor understanding leads to poor choices in the definition and specification stage of the project. This paper will attempt to help the purchaser of these systems define the important design parameters of the system so a better specification of the system can be written. Better specifications will help the system perform to the expectations of the purchaser.
