This biocide possesses a favorable aquatic toxicological profile compared to some other biocides, and may help the end user meet tight discharge limits in selected areas while maintaining biocontrol of their cooling system. The end user must bear in mind that these positive environmental data do not permit complacency in application as all biocides are hazardous chemicals.
