Photopoymerization processes and depolymerization processes provide the cornerstones of commercial lithgoraphy. In the formaer a soluble material is converted to an insoluble substance upon hight directed exposure. In the latter an insoluble material is solubilized by a photochemical enent. Exprosure through masks or with light directed lasers causes patterning.
