Turulent heat transfer

摘要

Turbulent heat transfer is important in many engineering aaplications. The ten papers that are presented are from two sessions of Turbulent Heat Transfer, sponsored by the ASME-HTDs K-8 Committee on Theory and Fundamentals. The papers deal with fundamental issues and include scaling laws, turbulence models, direct simulations, and detailed measurements. The papers are loosely organizaed into two groups: the first five papers deal with measurements, scaling laws, and the use of power-law profiles, while the second group deals with prediction of turbulent heat transfer. The advances represented in these papers will hoperfully be of considerable value to the heat transfer community.
