COAGULATION-NEUTRALISATION TECHNOLOGY TO TREAT WASTEWATER FROM LEAD-ZINC CONCENTRATOR

摘要

Wastewater from lead-zinc flotation concentrator is of high pH value and high calcium content, and lead ions and CODcr exceed national standard for discharge. Research on using of ammonium bicarbonate (NH_4HCO_3) and new regents LSQ developed by Kunming University of Science and Technology are conducted to treat the wastewater. Results showed that the quality of wastewater after being treated by new treatment technology can meet National Standards for Wastewater Discharge. The effluent can be recycled for concentrator operation, which has the same effect with the fresh water.
