Sorption and dcsorption of methane on hard coal at elevated pressures

摘要

A study of the sorption and desorption of methane on three hard coal specimens sampled from three different depths at "Nowa Ruda" coal mine was performed. The methane capacity of the specimens as well as the kinetics of sorption and desorption of methane were determined. A relationship of the diffusivity parameter versus the methane capacity for the sorption process was foun as well.
