A simple and fast matching algorithm for image recognition based on orientation run length coding (ORLC)

摘要

The paper presents a new approach for achieving fast matching and recognition of image in industrial environments.The method is based on orientation run length coding (ORLC).Three kinds of templates of image are developed in this work which are coordinate template,vector template and byte template.The generation of the templates are simply the same processing procedure as matching operation.
