Axial dispersion coefficients of both gas phase and liquid phase in bubble column slurry reactors (BCSR) were measured based on the impulse response technique and the method of curve fitting in the time-domain. The experimental conditions are: column diameter of 6, 10 and 20 cm, gas velocity of 2 - 20cm/s, solids concentration of 5-20wt percent and particle size of 53mum. For an air-water-quartz sand system, correlations of E_g and E_L are presented as the following: E_g=104.91U_gD~1.44C_s~0.48 (D=10, 20cm) E_L=2.988U_g~0.284D~1.369C_s~-0.122 (D=6, 10, 20cm)
