Technological and ergonomic aspects of selected muds application to the drilling of rescue holes in underground dog headings

Rotary methods of hole drilling require theapplication of suitable muds for the removal ofcuttings. Their selection is limited by conditions inthe mine's dog headings and by the safety of the rescuedminers. Conditions for safe and fast hole drilling inunderground dog headings have been analysed in thepaper. Special attention has been paid to thetechnological parameters of the muds. Methods forgenerating and extinguishing foam muds as well as thetechnology of aerated mud application have been provided.
