Recycling of Windshield Glasses in Fired Bricks Industry

14 million cars become scrap every year in Europe, Recycling of windshield glasses is a particular problem. Two ordinary glasses are fixed together by a polymer laeyr to a safety glass. Downcycling of car windshields in the brick industry has been examined. Glass may be used instead of quartz sand as a filler in fired bricks, polymers may be used instead of saw dust, paper sludge, styrofoam, or other burnable materials to form pores in the bricks to achieve heat insulating building blocks.
