The experimental and theoretical results of the first and second rainbows of liquid jet and fiber are presented. The experimental results of alcohol jet and homogeneous fiber are measured by rainbow refractometer. The calibration of angle position of the setup is carried out with water. The experimental results are compared with numericla simulations calculated by Mie thoey. All peak positions of the first and second rainbow pattern are in agreement with theoretical results. The results show the rainbow refractometry is a practicable method to determine simultaneously the size and ht ereal part of refractive index with an accuracy of four digits of cylinders or droplets.
