Industrial noise in workshops: calculation, simulation and measurement

摘要

The present paper describes a computatinal code, referred to by the authros as ECHOTEST, designed to assist in the calculation and simulation of noise levels on industrial premises. It is based on ray-tracing techniques, and has been successfully applied to the study of the acoustical environment in a mechanical worshop. Included in the paper are the results of this application, along with their validation both mathematical and empirical.
