Incorporating vision with the manufacture of dies

摘要

This paper presents a vision based methodology which feature points of 3D dies can be extracted reliably from 2D images, and the extracted features can be used to generate control signals when incorporating witha prototype dies making machine in order to produce dies with high precision required by named shoe makers. It concludes that automatic manufacture of dies is made achievable now through this research.
