The study subject is an oil-injection screw compressor with a new lobe profile N1 (lobe number radio between the male and female rotor is 5:6) and male rotor diameter 140 mm. On a test rig with D.C speed adjustment, a study of the influence of the operation parameters including rotation speed, the injetting oil flow rate, oil temperature and etc. on the air-end performance has been completed, and the improvement has been put forward. Five test compressor air ends are trial-produced by two compressor manufacturers.
