摘要

It is well known that ore-forming processes occur in a short period in a geological event, but we consider that they are controlled by long-continued crustal evolution, and an exceedingly large mineral deposit must possess more favourable geological conditions than common deposits. The Dachang cassiterite-polymetallic sulphide ore deposit is one of the giant deposits in China. The ere-forming conditions are discussed as follows.
