Megathermal, the warmest climate stage during postglacial period, is generally believed to be from 8.5 ka B. P. to 3.0 ka B. P. which takes up almost half of Holocene. This climatic stage has attracted scientists' attention because it contains a great quantity of climate and environment information. Especially after Holooene began, human changed progressively from food collectors to food producers, their activities became one of the most active factors affecting natural process on the earth surface. They tried to probe into the law of environmental changes by studying the climate and environment in Megathermal, so as. to provide a basis for forecasting future climate and dealing with the increasing trend of temperature day by day.
