A BASIN INTEGRATED MODELING SYSTEM

摘要

BASIMS (BASin Integrated Modeling System) is a large basin modeling software. It simulates the geohistory (depositional and structural), geothermal history, hydrocarbon generation history, hydrocarbon expulsion history (primary migration) and hydrocarbon migration-accumulation history (secondary migration), and finally makes the integrated oil/ gas resouce evaluation. The objectives are to help reduce exploration risks by determining drilling target areas and to indicate new potential reservoirs.
