One Experienced Engineer's Approach to Better/Cheaper/Faster Satellite Testing (Philosophies and Lessons Learned)

摘要

In this paper, the author recalls hardware failures observed on satellites over the years; makes some observations about today's environment of trying to build and test satellites; and makes specitic recommendations concerning in general, as esll as specitically addressing box-, payload-, spacecratf-, and full up satellite-level testing. The recommendations are intended to provide insight into how to produce satellites better, cheaper, and faster.
