Pulse sequence analysis - what does it tell us about multiple discharge sites?

Partial discharge analyses are widely used to get relevant information on the actual state of high voltage equipment. The standard partial discharge analyses are based on the phase angle distribution of the discharges and do not include thecorrelation between consecutive discharges thus neglecting physically relevant information. The Pulse Sequence Analysis considers especially the correlation between consecutive discharges and thus enables a more sophisticated evaluation.
