Low cost High performance Lasers for FITL/FTTH

摘要

Current status and major trends for High Temperature 1.3um and 1.55μm FP and DFB lasers will be reviewed. To demonstrate today's performance limits for digital transmission with HT lasers, we report on a STM16 system experiment over 100km, with good system sensitivity and low BER penalty for chip temperatures between -25°C and +95°C.
