Recently flows within wind tunnels have become one of the significant problems on which CFD is anticipated to produce fruitful results, so that experimental accuracy could be made higher(1). In the present research, unsteady supersnic flows about the flying projectile injected from the experimental installation called a ballistic range are numerically solved in order to comprehend the physical phenomena at launch and finally to predict the flying speed of the projectile in the experiments being prepared in our laboratory for the study of sonic boom.
