Gx-2001 Microcontroller and It's Application in Multi-function TV Technology

摘要

In this paper, we emphatically introduce a kind of microcontroller designed for CCST Teletext decoder. It has many functions such as timer, decoder, CRT controller, video composer, switch matrix, PWM, etc.. With the use of this controller, Teletext decoder power consumption, PCB size and EMI can be largely reduced. Combining with micro-processor Intel 80c3t or 87c51, the extension of Chinese Character based on WST decoder and other functions can be achieved. The application of Gx-2001 in CCST Teletext decoder will be introduced in details. In the end, the applications of Gx-2001 to Videotex and other fields are discussed briefly.
