摘要

The passive control on performance of the unstable characteristics of diagonal-flow fan has been proposed.lt is possible to suppress the unstable characteristics of the performance curve in a low flow regine,in this case increased vibration and noise level often lead to fatigue fracture in the blade of the fan. This paper demonstrated the air-separator is the most effective equipment for passive control technique. The report also describes the results of a flow measured within the flow passage of air-separator. The influences of the axial position of air-separator relative to the rotor leading edge and other geometric modifications of the vane passage have been examined,it is suggested that the equipment is equally useful in the pumping system for passive control of unstable flow.
