Nonlinear distortion analysis in optically prefiltered subcarrier multiplexed systems

We consider the non-linear distortion due to the optical source and the crosstalk produced in optically prefiltered SCM systems. Optimum values for the optical modulation index are obtained depending on the number of channels and the laser linewidth.
