Since 8.5 important science and technology research plan: "A set of construction technology of slipform cement concrete pavements" is progress from 1990, It was studied and applied in our country in recently 7 years. The great progress have been obtained in this construction technology such as raw material, mixed proportioning, joints and resistance wear etc. The more than 500 kilometers freeway have been obtained in this construction technology such as raw material, mixed proportioning, joints and resistance wear etc. The more than 500 kilometers freeway have been built in 12 concrete pavements sites using this technology in our country. The engineering quality of concrete pavement on highway in application of slipform technology has a great of improvements. The slipform technology progress and research are briefly introduced in this paper.
