Cement is a bulk adhesive which is far cheaper than any other idnustrial adhesive and has become as vital to all mankind as our daily bread. In fact, the raw materials for producing this bulk adhesive are distributed over the entire globe, often in large reserves. The cement contained in every concrete hardens in air and in water. It can be formed into any shape, is remarkably recyclable and ecologically harmless, and as a bulk construction material can be produced at low prices which cannot be rivalled.
