The significance and parti-cularity of kiln shell temperature detection. In the Cement industry, the calcination of cement clinker is the most important technological links of the whole production process, and the rotary kiln is the core of the technological links. Its operation condition directly influence the clinker output, quality, raw material and fuel consumption as well as the cost. When the temperature is too high inside the kiln, the biggest fluctuation of the heat will damage the kiln lining, also will damage the kiln shell while the fluctuation becomes seriously. During the rotary kiln is running, understanding the status inside the kiln at all times, adopting relative measures timely, avoiding the damage of kiln lining and kiln shell, then the economical operation target could only be realized. In the actual production process, direct monitoring of the combustion status inside the kiln is very difficult. The kiln inside information is transferred to the kiln surface by the scorching gas temperature, so the kiln shell temperature is the result of the combined functions of the kiln inside and outside multifactors in a great extent comprehen-sively reflecting the kiln inside conditions.
