Adaptive echo cancellation using genetic algorithms

摘要

The authors discuss a signal processing method which has been found to be very effective in removing echoes. This method consists of two steps. The first step is to detect and locate the echo signal by using Hilbert transforms. The second step is to remove the echoes by a near optimal subtraction using genetic algorithms. The theory and results of using the Hilbert transform and genetic algorithms for echo cancellation are outlined.
