Image surveillance systems: some novel design features

摘要

Considerable advances in image storage techniques are now making possible systems for the capture of image sequences showing the scene before, at, and after the time at which a PIDS (perimeter intrusion detection system) is triggered. Novel design features aimed at enhancing the overall performance of the imaging system with cost saving implications are presented.
