Self Ozone Destruction in Sand Fixed Bed Reactor

摘要

Ozone is now seen as a lean oxidizer. It can react with mateirals in many indutries such as pulp and paper industry. To understand the decomposition kinetics of ozone in a reactor and to know the effective factors of ozone decomposition in solid phase, a study of the heterogeneous reaction between gaseous ozone in oxygen and solid phase was performed. The relative importance of diffusion in each step was examine,d and the fundamental concept governing transport of a gas and solid phase was introudced. A survey of literature dealing with such reaction was conducted and sufficient data was presented; the global rate constant for ozone destruction was determined.
