A cycloconverter brushless cascaded induction motor

摘要

The mathematical model of the brushless cascade machine supplied by impressed secondary stator current components is considered. The cascade speed range in which the primary stator is connected directly to a constant voltage, constant frequency supply and the secondary stator is supplied via a cycloconverter are shown to depend on the available cycloconverter frequency and machine torque development capability. For synchronous speed the electromagnetic torque is zero despite the presence of secondary stator current.
