A flow of swirl type combustor with swirling flow so very complicated and it is very important to grasp the flow characteristics for the design of the combustor. In this study, the flow visualization of the swirl type combustor is carried out using a streamer and the spark tracing method and the flow patterns become clear. From these results, the present study clarifies the location, size and shape of recirculation, eye of vortex and sub-recirculation zone for the swirling number( s=0.45,0.78,1.35).
