The storage unit of the system for receiving and converting information for a promising spacecraft has been discussed. The components of this unit, which are power modules, control module, information switching cell, and secondary power supply cell have been described. The design of a special frame from the composition of a storage unit was considered, which serves to install internal and other components in it, ensuring their protection and support of the normal operation. This frame made it possible to provide a wireless connection between power cells and other cells, which together gave the minimum weight and dimensions of the unit. Special attention was paid to the strength and thermal analysis of the block structure. The results of the engineering analysis made it possible to choose the optimal design solutions that ensured the stable operation of the unit and efficient heat removal from the heat-loaded components.
