The article describes the implementation of solving a non-classical transport problem by the criterion of time using the linear simplex method in the Microsoft Excel software product. The found implementation shows that the problem can have a linear solution approach, which consists in obtaining the desired transportation plan by optimizing the linear objective function that determines the total cost of all transportation time. This approach allows you to get the most accurate answer due to linearity, while using the most common spreadsheet program to find it, making it easier to implement the solution in practice.
