The Tools of Mechanics by E. Cartan and Classical Field Theory

Geometric methods are now widely used in both classical and quantum field models. Cartan mechanics have been successfully used in special and general relativity, including cosmology. This article discusses the application of E. Cartan's mechanics in classical field theory.
