Digital Transformation as an Agent of Change in a Pharmaceutical Industry from the Perspective of Dynamic Capabilities

Due to the need to respond to the constantly changing market, companies need to remodel their capabilities to meet the new demands of the market, adopting digital transformation as one of their main organizational strategies. This article is a unique case study of a Brazilian company that operates in the pharmaceutical area, through fieldwork that obtained information through websites and documents on the Internet, in addition to interviews with a semi-structured script with open questions extracted from the theoretical models of literature revision. As a result, it was possible to understand the processes of the dynamic capacity to reconfigure organizational resources and competences for a quick and flexible response to provide a competitive differential, resulting from the digital transformation, in order to create value for the company.
