Corona and electrocorrosion of the stator windings of HV machines and on-site test of the corona inception voltage at the plateau

摘要

This paper investigates epoxy-insulated high voltage machines, which utilize corona protection techniques. An attempt was made using a multiple regression analysis to derive the governing equation of corona inception voltage obtained from in-situ tests. The influence of environmental factors is also discussed.
