The nonlinear process involved in the transmission channel makes it difficult to analyze the channel signal in FSK transmission.The authors have developed a new 18 GHz-band 4-level FSK transmitter-receiver by using computer simulation to determine the parameters of the FSK transmission channel through the introduction of a model for the transmission channel.This new equipment,which has radio equipment installed outdoors,provides a capacity of four DSI signals (1.544 Mbps × 4 channels) with two service channels (0.3-3.4 KHz analog interface).This paper describes the design process,features and major performance characteristics of the equipment thus developed using computer simulation.
