The multibeam satellite communication technique is useful to realize attractive mobile satellite communication systems.However,when the multibeam technique is applied,traffic imbalance among beams,and accordingly,channel efficiency reduction should be studied carefully.In this paper,first,above problems peculiar to the multibeam system are rearranged.Then,several link configuration methods to improve the efficiency of radio-link channels are discussed.Finally,an example of radio-link configuration of a mobile satellite communication system is shown.
