THE ROLE OF INTERNETWORKING TOWARD INS

摘要

There are four data networks in JAPAN,telephone network,telex network,circuit data network (DDX-C) and packet data network (DDX-P)provided by NTT.Now these network services are offered separately and subscribers of each network can't communicate with each other.But recently a requirement of interworking between different network subscribers becomes more and more important.In order to realize this interworking of terminals,an internetworking technique which means an interconection between different networks,is necessary.This paper describes the role of the internetworking in the process of the network enhancement hereafter.
